Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) is an innate trait characterized by deep sensory and emotional processing, heightened empathy, and increased sensitivity to external stimuli. Although approximately 20% of the population share this trait, many are unaware of it and often perceive themselves as “too much” or different. Discovering that I belong to this group reframed many everyday experiences that once felt excessive or abnormal.
This project is a short film combining generative AI visuals and video with additional editing and visual development. The film presents three familiar daily situations that reflect the inner experience of a highly sensitive person, translating emotional and sensory overload into a cinematic visual language. The process included concept development, AI visual direction, and precise editing to shape a cohesive narrative. The goal of the film is to encourage self-recognition, reduce feelings of otherness, and reposition sensitivity within a non-judgmental context.
